The Collen Mashawana Foundation Golf Day marked as a blast and a success accompanied by a special performance by Morphy (Mofire)

On the 19th of April 2024, The Collen Mashawana Foundation hosted a Golf Day Event as their day 1 of their 12th anniversary celebration at the Kyalami Country Club, Midrand Gauteng where they had first had a golf tournament where participants can play in friendly competition and raise money for a worthy cause.
Golf was played, and other activities were had, and prizes were awarded to the employees which were regarded as conjunction with the Global African Awards. The also invited a special guest/artist to come perform for them while they dine, Morphy was the artist or the special guest who was invited that evening.
Morphy being part of this two-day celebratory event regarded it as a special and momentous occasion. From the golf tournament, raising funds to the dinner awards showing more of the improvement of the foundation to the underprivileged, by not only providing shelter to the shelter less, food to the foodless, and health to the health less, but also by giving hope to the hopeless, encouraging more and ensuring that everyone is able to secure a plate for themselves and their families to eat.

Morphy (22), also known as Nyandano Tshikororo, is a South African artist, musician, and lead vocalist. She is also a songwriter and a journalism student at Rosebank College in Pretoria. She is originally from Venda, Thohoyandou where she started and pursued her passion for music.
“It was such an honor to be part of this philanthropy, glitz, and glamorous event as guest artist as it was my first time performing at corporate event and it was also my first time attending such glamorous event, eating at the same table with big people like Julius Malema, Connie Ferguson, Lindiwe Zulu and more”, she said.

“I cannot really talk about how I felt when I was about to go on stage to perform. The pressure was too high, and the standard had to be high that day. Even though I was the only artist performing that night, I aimed to give out nothing but the best, and I want to thank Mr. Collen Mashawana for trusting.”
What blast day it was, and it successfully went well, from the golf tournament, lunch and other activities done during the day to the awards and then dinner watching a Morphy perform live with along side with her dynamic band giving out nice and soothing music.
