Orania receives its 31st Clean Audit in 31 years of existence and ‘staggering’ population growth.

Orania

Orania is a white-only town flanked by the majestic and breathtaking Orange River which is about 160 kilometres outside Kimberly in South Africa’s Northern Cape Province and the municipal landfill of this homeland has been best maintained, even though Orania is secluded, separated and solo.

Its existence still remains controversial in modern South African society – but the small enclave has notched up a number of stellar achievements.

Municipal Official, Gawie Snyman

Applications to live in this settlement have gone through the roof, and the construction teams are racing to build enough accommodation to house a booming population despite all the criticism from outside.

Gawie Snyman, municipal official at Orania, hailed the administration’s proper financial management as their ‘key to success’

“This month, our share block company held our 31st Annual Shareholders Meeting and we are proud to confirm that Orania received our 31st clean and unqualified audit. Good corporate governance and proper financial management is our key to success”

Orania’s Chief Executive Officer, Joosty Strydom

Orania’s Chief Executive Officer, Joost Strydom, has been waxing lyrical about the audit, as he praised the Orania municipality for working hard, and boasted about the run that has set tongues across the country.
