GLOBAL SUPERSTAR USHER ANNOUNCES THE 25TH ANNIVESARY EDITION OF HIS 7X PLATINUM ALBUM ‘MY WAY‘
Usher Raymond is paying tribute to his landmark sophomore album ‘My Way’ with a special expanded anniversary edition. The R&B legend released ‘My Way 25th Anniversary Edition on the 16th of September 2022 as a gift to his fans, the Atlanta vocalist and a songwriter has influenced a slew of generations since the 90s up to this time.
The latest version features the original album in its entirety along with three “freshly reimagined” tracks made with Ryan James Carr, a vinyl anniversary package and the 25 years ‘My Way’ mini documentary.
‘My Way’ was originally released in 1997; It debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 chart and later at No. 4. It has been certified 7x platinum since, with tracks like “You Make Me Wanna” and “Nice & Slow” being 3x platinum.
The album earned Usher’s first chart – topper on the Billboard Hot 100 and this record has always been regarded as his breakout album, giving him a GRAMMY nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “You Make Me Wanna”. He took out the stage at The Beloved Benefit, which exists to fortify and transform communities throughout Atlanta.
